This ad for Connecticut Telephone & Electric Division appeared in the January 1945 edition of Radio News. The company, as the name suggests, manufactured communications equipment, but as the name does not necessarily suggest, it also made radios and accessories. The Radio Museum website has a collection of photos and specifications about some of the equipment, such as the Vacuum Tube Detector Set Type DT-3 and Sodion DR6 single-tube receiver. Connecticut Telephone & Electric Division began operations at the dawn of the wireless communications age and produced a lot of materiel for the armed forces in World War II.
